Very proud that New York and New Jersey have now launched Covid apps using the Irish app's technology. Northern Ireland, Scotland, Gibraltar, Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware have also launched apps based on the Irish source code, which we made available for free to others.

Delighted to report that I’ve just signed the regulation authorising the use of the Pfizer vaccine in Ireland.

First delivery will be St. Stephen’s Day, first vaccinations 30th December.

The decision to temporarily suspend use of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine was based on new information from Norway that emerged late last night. This is a precautionary step. The National Immunisation Advisory Comm meets again this morning and we’ll provide an update after that
