It’s not better food parcels we need. It’s an end to the poverty that drives the need for food parcels at all.

We don’t call for resignations lightly, but the level of failure and incompetence we’ve seen from Gavin Williamson is of a magnitude that cannot be justified or excused.

If the Prime Minister had any judgement he’d sack him.

If Gavin Williamson had any shame he’d resign. pic.twitter.com/sojveZe8cV

No wonder Gavin Williamson didn’t want to make a statement:

- He hasn’t told us which schools will be open and which ones will be closed
- He hasn’t got a Plan B for exams
- He hasn’t guaranteed laptops for all who need them
- He won’t commit to staff vaccination programme
