The holidays are coming, and as the Governor of the State of Missouri, I am not going to mandate who goes in the front door of your home.

Government has no business going through the front door of your homes to decide how many members of your family are there, how many are not.

This morning, Missouri’s native son Rush Limbaugh passed away.

I spoke with his family and we talked of Rush's legacy in our state and across the nation. Teresa and I will continue to lift his wife Kathryn and family up in our prayers. pic.twitter.com/LC1lS8mlnx

Two @SLMPD officers were shot by a gunman tonight while protecting St. Louis citizens, and they are now hospitalized. Teresa & I are praying for the officers and their families. Chief Hayden said this makes eight STL officers shot since June. This violence must end! #BackTheBlue https://t.co/bT97CdfBHY
